Vintage Skipper & Skooter Dolls, Case, Clothing and Accessory Lot.
Up for your consideration is an all original vintage lightly played with Skipper and Skooter Lot.
First issue brunette Skipper comes with stand, booklet and box correctly marked "Brunette". She is clean with original face paint, no green ear, piercings, nose nips, neck issues, or loose limbs. Her hair is shiny and smooth and I do not see any missing plugs. Box shows wear and is taped on the lower left end.
First issue Skooter is clean/no box but 2 stands in lot. She is clean with original face paint, no green ear, piercings, nose nips, neck issues, or loose limbs. Her hair is missing a row of plugs on her left side and the elastics have been replaced.
The clothing is mostly in very nice clean displayable condition with snaps, zippers and buttons in good order. The most obvious flaws to me are: Dreamtime pink robe has some yellow spots on front and back and the back of the collar needs re-stitching. Skating Fun leotard has a few fabric runs along the red legging part. The Umbrella to Rain or Shine is broken. The inside of the blue scarf has "Patti" written on it in black ink. Ballet Class is in excellent complete condition with loads of sparkly glitter on the tulle!
The case has held up nicely for its age! As is common, the vinyl on the corners of the case where the lid connects to case is torn. Inside of case the drawers are clean and intact in very good condition. Handle and clasp work perfectly.
