Vintage Ricky Doll #1090 1963 to 1965 SL Skipper's Friend
Presenting a Vintage Painted Red Hair Ricky Doll (Skipper's Friend) by Mattel (Model #1090) from 1963-1965. He is wearing his Original Beach Jacket, has Bright Blue Eyes & Freckles and a Straight-Legged Body. On his bottom it says "© 1963, Mattel Inc". He has "Japan" on the bottom of his right foot. Here are more details:
His Molded Painted Red Hair looks good - just has some small rubs on back of his head.
His Face Paint looks really good, no rubs, freckles look good, eyebrows have slightly lightened.
There are no neck splits. Neither arm is swingy. His body could use a cleaning. All of his fingers and toes are present.
Has a scratch under his neck and some scratches on his back - see photos.  Ricky's Original Beach Jacket is in very good vintage condition - Red Trunks are replacement shorts and too big. Matching Beach Jacket is crisp and lined in White Terry Cloth and has a "Ricky ™" Black & White Fabric Tag sewn inside.
