All Aluma-Tow models models are independently tested to meet or exceed J684 towing standards. When towing with the 2-5/16" hitch ball, the hitch offers a market-leading towing capacity of 12,000lbs — allowing you to haul heavier loads with ease.
Value-Added Features
Three Chrome-Plated Hitch Balls
Aluma-Tow comes with three independent, chrome-plated, steel hitch balls that are easily interchangeable and cover all vehicle sizes. Your kit includes:
1-7/8" Ball (5,000lb GTWR)
2" Ball (7,500lb GTWR)
2-5/16" Ball (12,000 GTWR)
You can install up to two hitch balls at any time, or only use one to give yourself some extra clearance.
Patented Interchangeable Design
Aluma-Tow's patented interchangeable design (U.S. Patent #10,857,846) makes it easy to configure your hitch to suit your towing needs.
This model has a 6" maximum drop and a 6-3/4" maximum rise, which can be adjusted in 1" increments. Pins hold the hitch balls in place and provide a quick change-out system.
Keyed-Alike Locking Hitch Pins
Each Aluma-Tow includes two keyed-alike swivel locking hitch pins and two sets of keys to deter theft and provide extra security while the hitch is connected to your vehicle. An improved design features a sliding key cover that protects the locks from dirt and grime.

Aluma-Tow products are manufactured to fit standard square receiver tubes, but may not be compatible with tubes that have been modified or equipped with after-market accessories. This includes, but is not limited to, hitch-mounted mud-flap kits. We recommend measuring your receiver tubes and comparing them with our product measurements before purchasing. We are currently aware that Aluma-Tow products are NOT compatible with the Rock Tamer brand of aftermarket mud-flaps.
